Integrated Motor Control Retraining

 Overview of Series One - for Musculoskeletal Physios (Dates & Venue TBA)

2:  Integrated motor control retraining for chronic back pain
(2-day course. $595 incl GST)
 Assessment of functional movement patterning
  •  Identify nociceptive and nociplastic pain mixed presentation
  •  Determine motor control category
 Rehabilitation and education of normal movement, enhanced by primitive reflex inhibition exercises
  •  Flexion sensorimotor retraining
  •  Extension sensorimotor retraining
  •  Unilateral sensorimotor retraining
  •  Function-specific integration
2:  Integrated motor control retraining for chronic neck & arm pain and headaches
(2-day course. $595 incl GST)
  •  Assessment of neck and scapula movement
  •  Assessment of sensory integration between neck, vestibular and oculomotor functions.
  •  Assessment of neurodynamics in persistent arm pain
  •  Identify nociceptive and nociplastic pain mixed presentation
Rehabilitation of cervico-ocular reflexes, cervical sensory feedback, neurodynamics, cervical and scapula motor control and breathing.
3: Integrated motor control retraining for chronic sacroiliac and pelvic pain
(2-day course. $595 incl GST)
  •  Assessment of functional movement patterning
  •  Identify nociceptive and nociplastic pain mixed presentation
  •  Identify sacro-iliac joint dysfunction category
  •  Manual therapy to reduce aberrant peripheral stimulation into the CNS from the sacroiliac joint structures
  •  Rehabilitation and education of normal movement, enhanced by primitive reflex inhibition exercises
    • Flexion sensorimotor retraining
    • Extension sensorimotor retraining
    • Unilateral sensorimotor retraining
    • Function-specific integration
